Lindsay Coker Dickinson, M.A., CCC-SLP
Lindsay is from Fredericksburg, Virginia. She graduated from The University of Virginia with a bachelors degree in psychology and went onto to The George Washington University to get a Masters of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology. Lindsay has provided therapy in a variety of clinical settings including clinics, hospitals, schools, and in private practice. After working for 3 years in the school system, she started Foundations Speech and Language Services to return to what she loves doing when it comes to working with patients: evaluations and therapy.
Lindsay loves working closely with the patient and their family/caregiver and witnessing their hard work pay off. She has worked with patients of all ages and a large variety of delays, disorders, or syndromes that include patients with articulation or phonological delays, expressive language delay, receptive language delay, social language concerns, Apraxia of Speech, Autism, Down Syndrome, oral motor concerns, developmental delays, feeding concerns, auditory processing issues, cleft lip and palate, patients with cochlear implants, AAC devices, accent modification, and voice concerns, stroke survivors, survivors of traumatic brain injuries, Familial Dysautonomia, Cerebral Palsy, and Fragile X syndrome.

Lindsay enjoys learning about and implementing the principles of motor learning for speech therapy. She also enjoys the traditional approaches to speech and language therapy. She is excited to be working as a team with her clients to address their communication needs.
